The Oregon Bioscience Association’s annual conference featured a pitchfest this year; it was covered on the Portland Business Journal’s blog by Portland Business Journal reporter Elizabeth Hayes:
…Motiosens and the Seattle-based startup Health 123 tied as winners in the digital health category. Portland-based AbSci, which is developing a protein expression system, won in the “Emerging Bio” category.
The winners will receive around $3,000 each in services from the Portland marketing firm Anvil Media and the Portland law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine.
As part of what we’re doing here at Science in Portland, we’ll be following small companies in Portland that are doing cool science. AbSci definitely falls under that category. Best wishes to them!
