Panelists sought for discussion on STEM education and career readiness in Vancouver

Hey, science, technology, engineering and math professionals, here’s an opportunity for you to share your knowledge in a way that can help in an area many in STEM are concerned about: preparing young people for and funneling them into STEM careers.

nConnect, a nonprofit organization that works with Vancouver, Washington’s Educational Service District 112 to encourage students’ pursuit and success in STEM, is looking for speakers for an upcoming event.

Matthew Goosen, nConnect’s program coordinator, said the organization is seeking STEM professionals to participate as panelists in a discussion on college and career readiness the morning of June 2 at a Vancouver-area school. Human resources pros also are encouraged to get involved.
