BIO is a graduate student organization that aims to connect PSU biology research to other departments on campus, the general public and outside research in the local community.

BIO’s new officers are:

  • President — Jessica Hebert
  • Vice president — Jessica Cole
  • Treasurer — Molly Shallman
  • Secretary — Jess Millar

They replace outgoing officers Lindsay Holden, Trevor Williams, Tina Schroyer, John Kelley and Stephen Christy.

BIO also welcomes new graduate student members with a passion for media and outreach, including managing the organization’s electronic presence and helping with events.

The group is additionally looking for PSU graduate students in biology, chemistry and physics who are interested in presenting in its Better Know a Lab seminar series. To get involved, contact Cole at jesscole@pdx.edu.

For more information about BIO or to get involved, contact Hebert at jhebert@pdx.edu.
